About Dr. Samantha Yeo

Dr Yeo is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK (MRCOG) and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS). She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, obtained her Master of Medicine (M Med O&G), and specialist accreditation from the Singapore Medical Council.
Prior to co-founding Trinity Women’s Specialists, Dr Yeo acted as Deputy Head, inpatient unit, in KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital (KKH) Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr Yeo was also appointed as the clinical lead of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department in Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) from 2020 – 2025. In these roles, she was responsible for reviewing policies to improve patient safety and experience – such as optimizing delivery suite resources and re-introducing satellite antenatal care after Covid-19 disruptions.
Dr Yeo is known for holistic pregnancy and postpartum care, offering empathetic, individualized treatment. Taking a balanced view towards “biohacking” pregnancy, she advocates evidence-based methods to prevent negative effects of the perinatal period, while embracing the physiological changes of pregnancy.
She has delivered thousands of babies and is skilled in gentle birthing, natural delivery, reducing perineal tearing, as well as instrumental delivery, Caesarean Sections, and vaginal birth after Caesarean (VBAC). She is committed to scar aesthetics and founded the KKH Scar Symposium (2023) to promote post-surgical wound healing innovations.
Believing in optimizing preconception health, Dr Yeo supports women in enhancing natural fertility and hormonal balance for overall wellbeing.
Surgically, she is accredited in minimally invasive surgery for ovarian cysts, fibroids, and polyps, with a focus on preserving fertility and ensuring timely recovery. She has published and presented research on complex gynaecological surgery internationally in Paris, London, Australia, and Taiwan.
Dr Yeo is pro-breastfeeding, an advocate for postpartum mental health and single mothers, and co-founded the NewMums #SgUnited support group. She previously led the Clinic for Adolescent Pregnant (CARE) in KKH, and is a board member of Matercare International, contributing to global maternal health.
As an educator, she was adjunct faculty at Lee Kong Chian (LKC) School of Medicine and physician faculty for Singhealth’s O&G Residency Programme. She has mentored O&G residents, lectured, and examined medical students across all 3 medical schools in Singapore. She has also been an international speaker and panellist on women’s health.
As a mother of three, Dr Yeo personally relates to the challenges of parenthood and believes in empowering women to enjoy wellness at every stage of reproductive life.
